Some people aren't really cut out for the whole "wife and 2 kids, happy suburban life" thing. I'm one of them. I would go out of my mind living like that.
My advice is to find something you like. Perhaps you've lived as you have because society told you that's what you should do. Explore yourself, and what YOU like to do.
Hobbies, Interests, dive into something that you love to do.
Everyone gets into a rut at some point or another, be creative!
Haha, I feel the same way, and I'm 18, single, and no kids at all! Boredom sucks. Maybe you should get a new job, take a vacation to somewhere nice if you have the money, get a new hobby, etc.
It is a common thing that happens, I fight with it every few months. Might want to try doing volunteer work or go back to school. If you have a hard time getting out then there are some online classes. Everyone has something they wished they would have done before, go after it, you'll be thankful you did. Or you can just pick something totally at random as a hobby, you never know you might like it.
Take the kids and get involved in some things at church. Take up genealogy and start looking for all those lost relatives out there. Crochet or cross stitch or take up painting. Go once a month and feed the homeless. Start a parttime business in your home so you can be there for the kids but also have new challenges. Take the kids and go to the nursing home and visit with some of the people who really are trapped with nothing to do.
I always wanted children but never had any so I consider you very blessed. Life is what you make it so don't just sit there and let life go by or you will miss out on so much and look back with alot of regrets.

I agree with bradbzb. Going back to school or taking online classes might just be the thing to give you some grown up conversations and feel like you're doing something with your life. Set a goal to do something you've always dreamed of doing. But remember your life is not going nowhere. You are very valuable as a mother and wife even when it doesn't always feel that way.
