How to stop being guilt ridden?

i am constantly feeling guilty for things i did not do or had no effect on. i am always saying sorry for no reason, to the point of annoyance. How can i stop this and realize this isn't my fault?
Answer:
Perhaps you feel this way because you have low self esteem? Obviously, I'm not you, you're the only one who can be a judge of whats really going on, but maybe try doing some positive affirmations. List the good things you've done each day, the things you've done that have gone well. And when things don't go well, try and think about where the error actually was. Don't blame, just realize what the real cause of the problem was.
why is your thinking like this in the first place? you should ask yourself that...only you can know for sure if there are underlying factors that cause this pattern of thinking...talking to a counsellor once in a while can help you sort this out and change your thinking...i think the solution to this problem is something not too complicated...
Only Jesus can cleanse your conscience, and He offers it freely and abundantly by asking Him to come into your heart and be your Savior. I recommend finding a good Bible-believing Spirit-filled (full Gospel) church. I have attended Assembly of God and Foursquare churches, but there are many others. Ask Him, and He will lead you.
