How to stop a loved one from getting worse in drugs. Rehab centre did not help. Where else can I get help.?

I am sorry to hear that. It is sad, but you cannot help someone who doesn't want to help themselves. I have been there done that with a loved one %26 they had to hit rock bottom before they decided to get help and actually use it. Sometimes even that does not help. Depending on what they are using, recovery isn't always an option if they don't have the strength to say no.

Do not blame yourself for your loved one's relapse in drug use. Sometimes you cannot help people when it comes to drugs. Depending on what drug it is, it can be extremely painful to try to quit. Lots of times it takes years of rehab and even prison or jail to make a person WANT to change and ready to change. You can't help someone who can't help themself. Bless you for caring. Good luck.

show them lots of love. almost treat them as if they were a toddler trying to get into something they're not supposed to be getting into. show them lots of love and pay attention to them 24 hours a day. BE FIRM; BUT UNDERSTANDING in the best way you can

hi im 17 and hav been in rehab myself. ur rite rehabs dont work. unless u really want it. I didnt get much from it and nobody new how 2 help me. i wanted 2 get better but didnt want 2 except help. but the thing that did help me 2 recover woz that i new i did hav support. people who cared about me and werent going 2 giv up on me evan when i stuffed up. i no it must frustrating and heartbreaking 2 c sum1 u luv do that 2 themselves but there really isnt much u can do. just b there 4 them and dont nag or pressure them or ull just push there usage further. i hope this helps
